Nacional is a new proposal from Santa Julia for those who choose light, fresh, fruity wines that are very easy to drink. It is a tribute to two emblematic varieties of our country: 60% Semillón, a grape with a long history in Mendoza and which finds its best expression in cool and moderate climates like those of the Uco Valley, and 40% Torrontés, the only native Argentine strain.
The history behind
the label of Nacional
The label of our wine, Santa Julia Nacional, was distinguished by the Sello del Buen Diseño, an organization that highlights Argentine products for their design.
Nacional was born as a tribute to two emblematic varieties of our country: Semillón, a grape with a long history in Mendoza, and Torrontés, the only native Argentine strain. In addition, its label highlights a figure that alludes to Melchora Lemos, the first woman in the wine industry of the region.
Without a doubt, it is a recognition that reinforces our conviction about innovation, because at Santa Julia we do not take it lightly.
